Welcome to World History Classroom in the Cloud Website!
Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing represents the new paradigm of technology access and application that is revolutionizing the way in which we harness the power of the internet, utilize web based tools and find solutions in an environment that is distributive, powerful and open to all. The benefits of Cloud Computing are evident to the user. Instant access to information, analytical tools for examination, presentation platforms for delivery, interactive and cooperative technologies for team based work. Cloud computing empowers the student!
World History in the Cloud

This year in
World History, your readings, worksheets and projects will come
primarily from the Classroom Cloud. You will be able to read documents
with links to video clips, animations or other graphics that help
explain the reading. You will have online questions, both subjective and
objective, that you will answer and return to the teacher online through
the Cloud. You will have tests and quizzes that you will complete in the
Cloud. This opens up a new world of 24/7 interactivity that will make
school and learning something that is a major part of your on-the-go
life.
Technology and You
Digital technology is a major part of our lives today and the ability to utilize this technology is part of the new literacy that all students need to master in order to be successful. Not only will you be using computers extensively, but you will use your smart phones, touch pads, netbooks and other devices in order to access the internet, complete assignments and master the curricular content required. You will be using online resources like Google Docs, Survey Monkey, Get used to thinking of yourself in a new paradigm and learning as an ongoing activity. Bring your technology along with your brain to class everyday and be part of the Cloud revolution!
